The Winner Of Blogburst of The Week for the first week of August is…
An American Housewife
The ACLU wants civil liberties and equal rights for women but not when it comes to criminals! No, they want us to coddle these death row inmates just because they are female. What makes it different for a woman who say breaks into some guy’s house who she did not like to steal something then ends up stabbing him to death for the thrill? That would be Karla Faye Tucker. Is she really different from a male killer? How about Aileen Wuornos, Susan Smith, or Andrea Yates just to name a few. You know the old saying, “If you can’t do the time then don’t do the crime.” It doesn’t go, “If you can’t do the time then don’t do the crime unless you are female then by all means, the ACLU will “rehabilitate” you and you won’t have to face the big ole mean and cruel and unusual punishment of that Death Row place where guards will watch you go tinkle until your time comes for the chair!!

It never fails to amaze me that this pedophile-worshipping, teen-abortion-exhaulting, “poor criminal” advocating group tends to align with the individual(s) who set out to cause harm. Screw the victim’s rights, screw the safety of our troops, screw the facts. Sure, ACLU, let’s release this guy. While you’re at it, why don’t you ship him back to Iraq so he can continue on his “filmmaking trip?” Oh, and why don’t you just give him some timers to put in the trunk of his car? Um, didn’t anyone tell you that we are at war with terrorists? If it looks like a duck, if it talks like a duck, if it is carrying bomb parts in the trunk…Read It All

Awesome all around. This from O’Reilly last week sums it up quite accurately:
“The New York chapter of the ACLU is suing the police for searching bags in the subway system. We knew this would happen because the ACLU has opposed nearly every anti-terror measure authorities have come up with since 9/11. The ACLU opposes allowing the feds to have floating wiretaps that would monitor cell phone conversations of suspected terrorists. It opposes American civilians assisting the border patrol. It opposes the profiling of suspected terrorists. It opposes military tribunals to try captured terrorists. It opposes coerced interrogations of captured terrorists. It has demanded that more pictures of Americans abusing prisoners at Abu Ghraib be released knowing that will help Al Qaeda recruitment. If the ACLU wants money it should contact the Al Qaeda fundraisers. No organization in America enables terrorism as much as the ACLU. The only thing we can do is hold people who raise and give money to the ACLU accountable. There are many issues I struggle with, trying to decide what is right and what is wrong so I can present a cogent analysis to you. But the ACLU’s opposition to all anti-terror measures is not one of those issues. This is a dangerous organization. The evidence of that is overwhelming.”
In my view, whatever good the ACLU has done in the past and still may currently do, the fact that they open us up to danger is inexcusable.
