Tax exempt status for Churches, Temples, and Mosques is one thing. As for schools, the better model is to give the people vouchers for whatever school they want to send their kids to. They can still be held to academic standards, though that is somewhat of a joke these days.

Then there's the example of religious medical institutions. They receive plenty of federal money, and I haven't seen the ACLU opposing them (yet). I hope I'm not giving them any ideas.

I've been commenting on several of the STOP blogs about these things, and I feel a good post generating in my mind for the NY blog soon.

I also want to express my appreciation for Jay, RV, and all of the other STOP bloggers, and for the opportunity to join this community. As we grow (and I'm sure we will), I see the potential of perhaps not shutting the ACLU down altogether, but to provide a HUGE counter-force to their dangerous agenda. When I talk to my "average NYer" friends about this, none of them agree with the things that the ACLU defends. They just don't know about it, because they don't pay attention. If our voice gets loud enough, and we get bloggers in every State, we will cause the changes in the politics and culture that we all know are sorely needed. Thanks for letting me part of this.

Just a note to let everyone know that the ACLU lost a case here against the City of Colorado Springs. The ACLU filed a suit against the city because the police department keep a bunch of moonbats from disrupting a NATO meeting, claiming that they violated their constitutional rights to free assembly, never thinking that this was noting but a bunch of idiots (criminals) that was trying ti violate the constitional rights of the NATO converence by disrupting their rights to free assembly. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE the idiot lawyers will not get any money for this law suit.

Well, of course the black liberal churches are going to be exempt, the ACLU won't file suit against them.

The hypocrisy at the ACLU makes me sick.

I will post even more revealing stuff about this later in the week. This is only on the surface, where they talk about pulpit politics. Not only will they not go after the churches where democrats are doing this, but they will advocate tax breaks for other religions like the Wiccans without ever prying into their political activism.
